Basqueland 9th Anniversary collab.
Bonito del Norte is one of the “king fish” of the Bay of Biscay. Like the famous tinned version, this can holds a real liquid treasure inside. This collaborative Double Dry-hopped IPA, one of our favorite styles, is a true delight for the senses.
We’ve used a blend of pilsner malts as the base, along with malted oats, flaked oats, and raw wheat to create a beer with body and a smooth, silky mouthfeel.
We’ve added El Dorado, Idaho7, and innovative Krush hops in dry-hop for a short contact period to get the best out of them, layering delicious aromas of orange peel, grapefruit, guava, and passion fruit, with a subtle hint of woodiness.

Can on day 21 from Fins Beyond Beer Geek Edition Advent calendar, however this was Fin's day 2 beer that he's only just got around to drinking. Had this Saturday 21st December 2024 after making a fabulous Chilli con Carne from a Delicious Mag, we watched the Ballad of Buster Scruggs on Netflix but realised we'd seen it before. Pours murky gold with a large white foamy head. The nose is of summer stone fruits, do peaches and apricots mainly but there is a little bit of citrus as well. Juicy and fruity, the aroma is replicated in the flavour department but with some tropical touches. Nice soft mouthfeel. Good bit not amazing.

440ml can. Murky golden, white head. Aroma of peaches, passionfruit, grapefruit. Taste of juicy fruits, peaches, passionfruit, guava, grapefruit, slightly sweet with a light citrusy bitterness, hint of pine. Medium bodied.
