Intense sweet malty with some expressive dark dried fruit notes, some caramel and toffee sweetness, lovely spice and bourbon infused layers throughout, full body, bourbon tinged warming boozy malty finish. Gorgeous.

0.75 l bottle shared at the Goblet Beer Store, Zagreb. Dark oily brown, minimal head. Heavy bourbon barrel and oak. There's dried fruit, fruit jam, glue, prunes coming up, molasses. Very sweet, sticky, thick, alcohol hidden. Some acidity.

Bottle pour from share with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! It's a hazy dark brown with no sparkle, nice viscosity, no head and no lacing. Aroma is strong bourbon, caramel, dark fruits, chocolate. Taste is strong bourbon, dark fruit, caramel and late harsh alcohol. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation, alcohol burn, and finish as taste. Overall, strong aroma and flavor but an alcohol burn detracts. Harshness trumps all.

750 ml bottle from the RS. Aroma from the pop is bourbon, raisins, prune. The flavor is still massively forward in bourbon. Yet, shows dates, prune, raisins, toffee. ABV is not hidden. Even after all this time, it hasn’t mellowed.

Hazy brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of dried fruits and vanilla. Like a sweet sherry. Dry woody finish.

Fat på Biskoppen Gustaf. Färg är klassisk strong ale rödrostig. Doftar utan helvete av dadlar. I munnen så ? Åhhh lågt kolsyrad med fina små bubblor som bara bra bryggare lyckas med. Ja ja skit i bubblorna .
