Canned. Pale golden, rich head. Fruity nose. Swet and lightly grainy. Light bodied and fruity with some dextrose and lifeless sloppy mouthfeel. Finishes with unrefined resiny bitterness.

Canned (500ml). -accidentally found in some supermarket in Plzen.
Yellow coloured, medium sized airy white head, sweetish malty nose. Few streams of carbonation. Light malty, slightly herbal and cardboard taste with notes of cheap cheese in rather bitter finish.

2017 rating. They rebranded this recently, and I got it nearly by mistake, not seeing somehow I'd rated it under a different name. Golden body, big white head. Light aroma, a bit of flowery hop on a malty background. Clean maltiness, vague citric and herbal hops. Dirt average, clean, drinkable. And better than the regular Staropramen brewed in Croatia is 99% of the times.2008 rating. 0.5l can that ogivlado got somewhere in Plzen and shared it (thanks!) Medium sized fluffy white head on top of a slightly pale gold colour. Light malty nose, light hop too. And then I have to use "light" again, this time describing a maltiness that even reminded me of tropical fruits for a second, but that feeling was soon gone, never to reappear and I wonder where it came from. A bit oily, somewhat hoppy and dusty. Extremely ordinary 10°. 4/2/5/2/9

500ml bottle from Tesco, Plzen. Gold, thin white head. Some cardboard on aroma. Some lemon on aroma. Poor in mouth, in fact one of the poorer lagers of this trip. thin metallic finish.

Unfortunately 0,5 l can only. Oh I love those light Czech Pilseners! This "desitka" is really one of their greatest beers I have tried. Pale yellow body with normal foam. Light aroma and flavor, but nothing very special like it’s finish. Really nice.

bottle. pale yellow colour, decent head. Malty flavours, but quite thin and watery. I think the Premium is much better.

Plastic bottle (65 cl): Golden coloured, rather quickly diminishing white head; sweet-grassy-bready and hoppy nose; thinnish body, modearate bitter-sweet flavour; short, slightly herbal-bitter aromatic finish: A thin but drinkable brew, all in all nothing unpleasant detectable...............

Can from Tesco, 4.2%, "Staropramen Prazsky". (BB 11/2006) Bright golden color, good white head. Woody, buttery aroma with hints of aspargus. Light to medium bodied. Starts mostly watery, then gets harsh hoppy bitterness. This one has some good Czech pils elements, but is same time bland and cheaply made.
