473ml can. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a small, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Aroma of bready wheat malt, yeast and floral hops. Sweet flavour of grainy wheat malt, honey, lemon, grass and spicy hops in a dry, crisp, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily to watery texture and average carbonation. Clean, flavourful and easy to put back.

Flight pour at Quinpool taproom. Pours clear blonde with white head. Aroma has straw and pale malts. Flavour has straw and cracker malts. A touch skunky. Could be worse.

473 ml can. Pours a hazy amber with moderate head. Aromas of corn syrup and soft grainy malts. Muffled flavors of bready malts, dull fruit, sweet corn, and wheat. At least it’s not overly sweet.

Bottle in Parrsboro. It pours clear golden with a decent white head. The nose is soft, rather doughy, grass, mild sweetness and cereal. The taste is crisp, bitter, minerals, grassy, white bread and just a touch of spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Good bitterness to it. Solid lager bier.

Bottle from the source. Pours a crystal clear deep straw color with a smallish but long lasting bubbly white head. Aromas of sweet bready pilsner malt with just a touch of toffee and some spicy floral hops to counter. The flavor is rich sweet bready and toffee pilsner malt with just enough spicy earthy hop flavor to balance nicely. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation. Nice pilsner I enjoyed it.

A golden pils with a thick white head. A perfumey malt aroma, with light cinnamon and nutmeg notes. In mouth, a nice crisp malt with light mineral notes, crisp and smooth, a bit harsh and grainy. Medium bodied. On tap at Hart and Thistle, Oct. 12 2009.
