.33 liter can from Vinmonopolet Bergen earlier today. The label says 20.11.2027 so being out of production appears unlikely. I open the can and tilt into the only glass I have available. The view is a murky, dark yellow body followed by a healthy off-white foam. I smell plenty of tropical hoppiness, straw and citrus. I take a drink and get a significant surprise. There’s quite a lot of bitterness start to finish, lemons, papaya, hops and a sharp nectarine sweetness. I am caught unaware and pleased by it all. An interesting IPA from Norway while I’m there.

Golden with a white head - Malt and some herbal hops in the aroma - Malt body with a herbal hop flavour and nice bitterness - Hop flavours and bitterness goes into the finish that ends dry - This was good

Smell of pine, citrus. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of hops, pine, citrus, some overrioe fruit. Soft plentiful carbon. Bitter, medium swet. Very nicely balanced.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of pine forest, hints of grapefruit and orange peel. Dry flavour of pine needles, resin and grapefruit. Bitter finish.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours slightly hazy deep golden with dense white head. Aroma of pine needles, tropical fruits, citrus, some malty notes. Tastes bitter with quite some sweetness. Medium bodied, alcoholic warmth, dry mouth feel, slightly bitter finish.

Can. Clear golden with a small white head. Pine cones, resin, grapefruit, orange marmalade, alcohol and some pale malts in the aroma. Semi dry, nice carbonation, good bitterness. Orange marmalade and zest, alcohol, resin and pale malts flavor. Bitter, citrusy finish. A bit rough this one, unbalanced and messy. Old school is a plus. 250209

330ml can, #0003, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Crocheted lacing from a remaining white head, cloudy golden-orange body. Inviting on the nose with citrus, and grainy malts. Fine blended taste of herbal hops, ripe citrus, oatmeal and a biscuit note. Ripe fruity ending with satisfying bitterness. Medium bodied. Like it. (Tromsø, 15.11.2024).

Gave fra Rune. Drukket på Bergstua. Stråfarget. Nesten klar. Høyt luftig skum som daler sakte. Litt lacing. God sitrusaroma. Smaken tørket frukt. Tørr bitter avslutning.
