An appealing amber-orange hue. Taste springs from strong American hops, featuring a strong grapefruit and orange rind foreground hoppiness anchored in a strong malt base. Sweetness balances the hoppiness, offering a Cointreau-like richness. An exceptional Imperial IPA

Draft from ginger man houston. Poured a dark amber, strong floral aroma, a weird sweetness before the hops bite. didn’t like it but it was ok as it grew a bit.

Bottle from FlacoAlto, thanks! Orange color. Grapefruit, melon and pineapple and oily hops in the aroma and flavor. Very fruity IPA, almost pushing away the hops, although this beer is heavily hopped. Some alcohol. Lovely IPA.

Bottle shared in MV. Pours unclear orange with a frothy, off-white head. The aroma has some rich bready malts, well ripened citrus, some berries. Medium sweet flavour with ample toasted caramel, more grainy malts, citrus peel. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with light warmth, wigh some mild resinous pine, more citrus rind, some marmalade. A little punchy but not bad overall.

Purchased the first time I saw a four pack at a local HEB. Glad I did. Out of the bottle it comes a super nice hazy orange liquid putting up a thinnish white top. The nose is resin with some caramel. Tasting it I get a moderate hop kick, maltiness, surprising for an IPA and a toffee-like sweetness. The bitterness is present throughout. I detect the 9.2% abv lingering in the background. Brewer should be proud.

Enjoyed on tap at Ale House in Grand Junction, CO. I didn't take tasting notes, but remember this being a pretty strong high ABV imperial IPA with lots of citrus. Overall pretty good, would have again.
Smooth as silk.
