Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden brown and clear. The head is beige and then quickly disappears. Nose - ripe and luscious peach with some vanilla and brown sugar. Taste - oh, big tangy sour note up front, that first brings peach, then vanilla with a boozy barrel thing at the back. Palate - medium bodied, with a tangy start and middle which softens to a sweetness, then booze and finally barrel notes.. Overall - a very interesting beer.

Crystal clear with a rich golden colour and a solid, lively white head. Smell is sharp with the peach and has a bit of boozy warmth. Flavour tangy peach up front, the brandy's there too, some vanilla, a bit of sweet bready malt but the peach and barrel are what make this, as it should be. Both linger into the finish with perfect balance too. A fun balance of the tart fruit and the spirit and woody barrel that almost gives it a cocktail vibe. Lovely stuff.
