Cask @ Smithfield Hotel. Amber color. Malty dusty aroma with a hint of caramel. Malty flavor with grapes and just a hint of salt. Just a hint of earthy bitterness in the aftertaste.

[RBESG 2009] Cask (handpump) @ Smithfield Hotel. caramel color , medium off-white head. Fruity hops wth soem caramel, moderate bitterness. Very average.

Cask (handpump) @ Smithfield Hotel, 37 Swan St, Manchester, Greater Manchester England M4 5JZ.Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, nutty, smoke - powder sludge, light notes of english licorice maybe anis, moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet, light light malt / fruit licorice acidic and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090715]
