Bottle online from Ocado. Pours a very dark brown almost black with a slight reddish hue and a medium sized creamy beige head. Aromas of dark fruits, chocolate, roasted malts, treacle and liquorice. Taste is more dark fruits, chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, burnt brown bread and a touch more liquorice. Medium body, low carbonation and smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Quite a nice wintery beer.
