English-style Barleywine brewed with Simpsons Finest Golden Promise and hopped with EKG. Hand of Glory was fermented with a traditional English strain and transferred into 13-year-old bourbon barrels to age for 6 months. It was then transferred into French Cognac casks, where it continued to age for an additional 14 months.

Refrigerated brown bomber poured into a glass. Hazy copper with small off-white head. Taste is rich caramel, oak, some cognac, and a little and booze.

Tasted blind from Lutton. No head dark brown. Very alcoholic malts and toasted malts. Very strong barrel essence hurting my nose. But old school English bw with strong malts and lots of barrel.
