Hell gelbe Farbe, gute Trübung. Blumen, Frucht, Getreide und Honig in der Nase. Geschmacklich haben wir gekochte und frische Früchte und etwas Porridge. Ein winziger Hauch Sekt lässt sich erahnen. Schön volles Mundgefühl.

Bottle picked up from a 12 bottle box Kalea? from Globus. Plattling, €13. Consumed at home Tuesday 9th December 2025 listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music. We had a simple tea of Spaghetti Bolognese after a busy few days away with Jude and Baz in Straubing and Regensburg and then in München meeting Bavarian Bluebirds last night and Jonas and Ursula on Sunday. Pours hazy yellow with a mid sized sticky white head. Pours hazy dark yellow, edging towards light amber. In the mouth there's a pleasant biscuit maltiness, middling to light bitterness, a bit of bread on the nose, nice. Score 7.0

A: served in a mug; amber colour, stable, foamy, off-white head.
A: vague biscuit, peanut, old bread, yeast.
T: sweetish biscuit, peanut, dust, dank yeast.
F: vague grassy hops, yeast, dust, bread.
P: light to medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation.
Refreshing but a bit too mild.

Draught at Alter Fuchs om Salzburg. In clay mug, but colour seems to be dark golden. Plum aroma. Soft malty taste with some plums and a balanced bitterness.
