33cl bottle – Pours a lightly hazed amber colour with an average size frothy, mostly lasting, beige head. The aroma is malty and fruity, biscuity malts, banana, caramel and light pine notes. A moderately sweet malty and fruity taste, biscuity malts, caramel, citrus and pine flavours with a light resiny and citrus bitter finish.

Tap @ the source. Golden color. Fresh English hop aroma. Malty sweetish flavor, biscuity, nice hoppy finish. Well balanced.

Hazy pale amber colour, huge frothy off-white head, good retention, fair lacing. Aroma pale malt, light fruity (lemon, pineapple), caramel. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, caramel, light fruity, light spicy notes. Dry malty sweetbitter aftertaste, grainy and caramel notes, lingering bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, very drinkable, nice.

Bottle. Aroma of malt, herbal hop and some pine. Taste has watery pine, herbal hop and malt. Meh.

Copper colour with lasting head. Strong malt profile. Light caramel. Very rounded.

Tap at the brewpub. Bit hazy dark golden with almost white head. Roasted grains, dry malts, bread crust, light banana, soft wood, bitter herbs, grassy, dry apple peel. Something very ‘tree’ like about this, with both woody and green notes. Medium sweet and quite bitter. Medium bodied.

Tap at Poesiat. Hazy amber with white head. Sweet and dry malts, grain, light caramel and some citrus peels. Earthy bitterness and light spices. Moderate sweet and bitter. Uit een flesje op het Hof van Saksen met gezelschap JP. Lichte amberkleur, weinig schuim. Aardige smaak, lekkere bitterheid en licht fruitig.
