Bottle from LDW. Blond colour, white foam. Malty with light sweet notes. Bitter hoppy finish. Light bitter. Nothing special. Ok.

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. A bit unclear light orange color, small off-white head. Sweetish, blossom aroma. Taste lightly malts, blossom, sweet, floral. High carbonation, medium body.

Bottle @ benzai thx to benzai. Slightly unclear light orange with a small off-white head. Smells sweet and malty. Tastes malty, herbs, sweet. Too much carbo for me, medium body.

bouteille 33cl, bb 10/5/2014.

4/X/2012 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: 4/IV/12 (2012-1103)
Clear blond to orange beer, big crackling rocky head, keeps on growing, very stable, bit adhesive, lots of carbon pearling in the glass, more than a Duvel! Aroma: lots of white candi sugar, orange peel, coriander, some ginger bread. MF: lots of carbon, light to medium body. Taste: bit sweet in the start, sugary, some citrus, bit grassy, slightly bitter. Aftertaste: quite some banana, sugary sweetness, bit yeasty, little bitter. Highly uninspired and boring beer, not what we're used from Sint Canarus.

Fast gone, rathre transparant and quite irregular head, fed by finely carbonated metallic orange, coldhazed beer; end of bottle solid yeast. Bit agressive herbal/vegetable nose, nearly insectoid; "hard" or young esters. Probably white candi sugar. Better balanced flavour, with citrus, citruspeel, toast, herbal. A bit oxydized malts, but in no way as far as off-flavour. MF remains fiery to agressive still; not very well-bodied, seems more well attenuated. Finish is a tad meagre. Pretty well-carbonated. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, but I wonder where the discovery, the novelty is, in this beer?
