A brew you can drink for breakfast. A beer to reward yourself with after a hard day's work. Or if your hard day's work is mowing the lawn, consider drinking on the job. Weighing in at 4.5 ABV, Rudie begins with a big fruity hop aroma of pears and watermelon candy, but is relatively low in actual bitterness, lending itself perfectly to those moments when you want to drink beer, but need to hold it together - or not.

No joke this is the best beer I've had in a long time. Something tangy, or lemon or something I can't put my finger on. Delicious.

Can at L6. It pours lightly golden with a medium white head. The aroma is bright, green, pine needles, meaty, smoked cheese, lemon sherbet and grapefruit. The taste is dry, bitter, clean, pithy, paper, pine needles, lemon sherbet and some peppery spice with a drying finish. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. A bit odd smelling, but tastes fine.

355 ml can, from Meny Løren. ABV is 4.5%. Hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma, some citrus and pine. Light bodied. Medium dry flavour, piney and grapefruity hops. Okay, but somewhat one-dimensional.

Frothy white head stayed on a hazy, dark orange coloured, still body. Hoppy aroma with bitterness & pith. Medium bodied, airy, smooth on the palate & cloying on the back. Tangy citrus, sweet citrus, grapefruit, pith, lemon, & hints of caramel with a long bitter finish. Nice one!

355ml can. Golden colour with a slight haze, dense off-white head, lots of lacing. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, light malt, light resin. Taste is exactly the same, light sweetness, well balanced and easy drinking, light bitter finish. Light-medium body, average carbonation.
