Nice reliable blonde ale, fair bitterness and refreshing on a summer's day.

Bottle from Co-op, Eastbourne. Pours a clear light golden/straw colour with a large light foamy white head. Nice fresh aromas of citrus lemon and floral. Taste is again citrus lemon, more floral and also some herbal notes. Buttery malts at first with a citrus and earthy hop on the finish. Thinnish body, low carbonation and smooth mouthfeel. Very decent Blonde Ale.

Cask-conditioned at Lime Kiln, Bristol 12 February 2022. Golden in colour, with a frothy, white, head. Stone fruit character with a yeasty edge, a touch of citrus hop, and some light, grainy, malts leading to a moderately bitter finish. Fine.
