Old Ale is one of the strongest traditional varieties of the classic British ale. This full-bodied beer is characterized by a complex aroma of fruity esters, caramel, nuts and toffee, made even richer by the addition of oak chips the beer matured on.

2020-10-14 Aromat słodki karmelowy toffi, trochę orzechów, ale mało intensywny. Piana beżowa lekko zamglone, ciemno bursztynowy kolor. Smak melanoidynowy karmel i orzechy, słodkie, z balansem dobrym Nagazowanie średnie, ciało średnie, lekko gumiaste, alkohol prawie niewyczuwalny, finisz długi melanoidynowy.

bottle from eBrowarium. Deep brwon, slightly hazy, with a tall beige head. Malty with dried fruit, caramel and some chocolate, shy hints of black currant. Earthy hoppy touch in the finish. Nice beer to savour slowly.

Butelka, grubo po terminie. Ciemnobrązowe, piana niemal od razu opada. W aromacie rodzynki, orzech, migdał/marcepan i trochę drewna.

Bottled, from eBrowarium. Dark brown, fairly small head. Rich caramelly nose. Sweet with near full body and rounded, oily mouthfeel. Caramel and treacle, toffee and honey. Fairly low bitterness. Solid and mildly warming.

Light haze on this amber beer, good pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth and fairly light malts, touch of creamy sweetness. Mild wood and a touch of chocolate. Woody spice. Woody dried fruits and ripe fruits. Trace of cinnamon spice. Bubblegum esters. Light semi dry finish. Good stuff, plenty going on here and it's very drinkable. Don't know why all the poor scores here (well in some cases I know very well). Nice old ale.
