Fonefan 110415. Dark amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is banana, smoked. Flavour is sweet, banana, smoked, caramel, bacon, yeast. A little bit weird.

Barwa miedziana, opalizujące. Piana drobna, obfita, całkiem nieźle się trzyma. W aromacie głównie opiekane słody, melanoidyny, ciemny chleb, dymność nieco schowana na drugim planie. W smaku już zdecydowanie więcej dymu, wędzona szynka, kiełbasa, trochę ogniska. Spora treściwość i słodycz, dobra kontra średniowysokiej goryczki. Faktura całkiem gładka, wysycenie średnie do wysokiego, po ogrzaniu lekko wychodzi alkohol. Ogólnie bardzo dobre piwo, nieco za słodkie i za bardzo wysycone, ale jest w nim wszystko to, co powinno być w rauchbocku, ma dobry balans. Bez obaw mogę polecić.

Dark brown color with an off-white head with good duration and nice lacework. Aroma has notes of smoke, toasted malts. Flavor is smoky, easy drinkable, notes of wood and slightly sweetness. Creamy and smooth on palate with smoky aftertaste.

Many thanks for this beer to Grzesiek79. Pours a dark amber color. Aroma has smoke. The smoky flavor is slightly malty in its character.

Bottle from torriman. Hazy dark amber colour, white creamy foam. Lively carbonation. Light sweet malts with lots of smoke, sausage, campfire. Well balanced. Some caramel also. Nice!

Bottle 500ml. [ As Solipiwko 1978 ].Clear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, sweet malt, smoke - sweet smoke, meat - bacon. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, bacon, sweet smoke, sugary. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150411]

Bottle from Piwoszek. A very clean and very good example of rauchbock. Strong smoky aroma and flavour, coming very close to traditional Schlenkerlas from Bamberg. Rather full body, chewy mouthfeel, this beer is all over the place. While smokiness is all I get, it somehow does not feel single-dimensional. Or maybe it is just because these beers are supposed to be this way. All in all very good one, I would definitely like more.

Bottle, 6.7%. Citric and fruity aroma, but the smoke note dominates. Almost clear dark copper colour bordering on reddish brown. Small stable tan head. The flavour starts off a lot like the aroma, fruity and citric. And again, the smoke takes over nicely. A good malt body, nice and sweetish. The smoke is distinct but does not take over completely.
