Chestnut colour. The aroma is wild - I mean there’s a lot of madeira, it’s quite estery as well. On the palate, the bitterness is high, again the esters are quite big, then it picks up a big madeira note in the woody finish. Off-dry, even though the base feels like it has some sweetness. That’s a unique character, really cool. Name's cool, too, fitting for this beer.

Poured from 330mL bottle (bb 28.01.34; pkg 21.03.24). Dark brown with minimal beige head. Nice madeira vinous background with dark dried fruits and some honey. Decent.

12 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is full of intense red wine barrels, some molasses, dark dried fruits, and toffee. Flavour is complex, with lots of complex sweet red wine, dark dried fruits, and molasses. Finishes sweet, with vinous, dark dried fruitiness. Excellent.

Bottle shared at mini-tasting. Opaque dark brown color, medium to full sized light brown colored head. Aroma is malts, dark malts a bit, caramel-ish, heavy barrel influence. Flavor is malts, again heavy barrel, also some overripe fruit notes in an intense way, sweet liquor soaked raisins, lingering intense fruit-boozy and somewhat bitter notes. Heavy, thick texture, average carbonation. Not exactly my kind of beer but definitely well brewed.

Ohhhhh yeah. This one was a really pleasure treasure.
Almost black in the glass and a fine head. Good lacing.
Fine intensity in the aroma.
Not to sweet for a beer like this. Gentle carbonated. Pleasant to drink.
Dried fruits, chocolate, some roast, vinous, some oak in the flavor
