Bottle from Marken-Erlebniswelt, Bitburg brewery - many thanks to mom & dad! Pours hazy yellow with a big, slowly collapsing, foamy, white head; some lacing & sediment. Aroma of unripe tangerine, orange peel, lemon zest, yellow peach, fruity yoghurt, pineapple, papaya. Taste is light fruity sweet, notes of peach & mandarin; quickly a medium hoppy bitterness strikes with orange & mandarin rind, a bit grassy too, on a faint bready & doughy malty base; touch of lemon zest in the back. Dry, grassy & floral hoppy finish, lingering orange rind. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. This passes the test and it's quite pleasant, but it lacks some finesse.
