500mL bottle, pours black, essentially no head. Aroma has plenty of bourbon barrels dominating—though maybe not the highest quality barrel—along with a touch of iodine and dark sugars. Flavour is extremely intense, with big iodine-y bourbon barrels, high-quality soy sauce, dark sugars. A bit too much iodine and stickiness to the sugars, but there’s obviously some nice malt to this. A bit too heavy and brutal, but it’s solid.

Dark brown. The aroma has a lot of umami, that rich dark chocolate, a pretty big bourbon nose, then on the palate there's a bit of fruitiness, again umami rich soy sauce, cacao, and the bourbon is a bit more understated. Interesting, but I'm curious about the acidity...how intentional is that? It doesn't not work but it's not in the description...more a sign of things turning.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Very dark brown with no head. Floral characteristic, feint vanilla woody barrel note, quite a unique barrel quality, mild dark sugars, very smooth, but not something I would necessarily seek out again (especially if I knew the cost).

500mL bottle. Pours very dark brown with no head. Deep woody bourbon and chocolately, almost iodine-like malt character on the nose. Flavour has charred bourbon barrels, thick malts with a similar chocoalte-iodine-ish character. Body is quite thick. Very nice, but a touch on the brutal side.

Bottle shared at CBJ - big thanks to WW. Cheers! Pours black-brown with a small, creamy brown head. Medium to big sweet flavour with notes of moderate roast, dried dark fruits, chocolate, booze, burnt marshmallows. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, deep dark malt character, more toasted marshmallow, vanilla, toffee. Super stuff.
