The smell and the taste are st opposite ends of the spectrum, but it's a good enough gose.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is citrus, some tart wood with mild wheat and toasted tones. Flavour is wheat, some sour wooden and citrusy tones with mild salts kicking in towards the finish/aftertaste.

$5.19 pint+ bottle, Wine Warehouse. Pours gold, slight haze, dusting of a head... actually looks a bit flat. Aroma is spruce, stone fruit, berry. Flavor is tart berry, spruce, leaf, cracker, apricot. Interesting, but carbonation is way too light - not flat, but close.

Curious as to how old this bottle is; carbonation is lax, giving up little to no head, and the texture is both thin and placid, leaving much to be desired. Lacks much character; more of a mild white bread sourness than your typical tart gose bite, with lots of estery apple and dried apricot notes. Spruce barely makes its presence known, adding hints of freshness but mostly staying hidden behind the unwanted fruitiness. I'm guessing the distributor was clearing out the back of warehouse and that's why this bottle only appeared on the shelf a few weeks ago. Can't imagine this pint's what the brewers intended.

Bottle bought at Liquor Shed.

It pours a hazy orange with an impressive head of foam, even with a gentle pour. Lacing is top notch.

The smell is apple pear, what Quince is all aboot when I googled it. Lovely aromas, tart just edges out sweet.

Taste is as good as the smell. More of an apple taste up front that brings some mild tartness, pear flavour, to me, brings a mild sweetness. I definitely taste some salt. It finishes dry.

Light body with medium to medium light carbonation.

Excellent and very enjoyable. A new favourite of the style.

16.9 oz bottle from Pilgrim’s, rated last night. Aroma is wheat, lacto, lemony, minerals, oxidation. Pours lightly hazy golden with a one finger white head that falls into a big bubbly ring somewhat quick. Taste is very lightly tart. Not getting any salt or spruce. Pretty oxidized. A little underwhelming and obviously past its prime. 5,3,5,3,11

BOTTLE 50 CL from Koelschtrinker. Slightly hazy golden, small head. Clean malty Helles-like aroma with subtle fruity/cidery notes. Similar taste - sweet and tart. Surprisingly clean - nu funk, not much tartness and no spruce. Below threshold of perception saltiness. Full-bodied. Good.

On tap. Pours a copper color with light head. Aromas of wet malts, citrus and forest floor. Flavor of limes, lemon cleaner, wheat malts, and salty herbs. Heavy on industrial cleaner. Knocks me off.
