Bei unserer Neuinterpretation dieses altenglischen Bierstils kombinieren wir in einer speziellen Kalthopfung die beiden Hopfensorten Hallertauer Mittelfrüh und den amerikanischen Citra. So entsteht ein IPA mit einer einzigartig fruchtig-herben Hopfenaromatik, einer besonders ausgewogenen Bittere und einer dezenten Süße. Ein klares bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit Aromen von Aprikose, Orange und Holunderblüten.

On tap @ Green Sheep Beers & Bar. Deep golden color, disappearing white head. Hops, asparagus in aroma, bitter hoppy taste. Not too complex, but very well balanced.

Bottle at Café Brecht, Amsterdam. Aroma is fairly malty with floral-ish hop, bit sweet, mild perfumed, quite a malty IPA. Modest bittersweet flavour, medium body. Lacks fresh hoppiness.

Drayght at Frankford Hall: pours brownish haze with beige head. Aroma is earthy and a tad herbal. Taste is lightly bitter, sweetish, very malty.

Lovely IPA! Slightly cloudy pale maber with a buubly off-white head and subtle orange caramel on the nose. Sweet malt, a touch of fruit and soothing bitterness to polish things off

Bottle. Almost clear dark orange sporting a decent white head. Aroma of tangerines, pineapples and other tropical fruits, malts and some citrus fruits as well. Taste follows aroma plus caramel. Strong long lasting bitterness. Strong carbonation. A nice and solid classic IPA.

Bottle, not sure where from. Reddish amber, big creamy head. Nose of lychee, grapefruit, sharp citrus. Flavor followed through with full citrus power, big fresh pine needle-y backbone, balanced with a caramel body. Pretty serious bitter character here as well which dominates the aftertaste. Nice German IPA!
