Bei unserer Neuinterpretation dieses altenglischen Bierstils kombinieren wir in einer speziellen Kalthopfung die beiden Hopfensorten Hallertauer Mittelfrüh und den amerikanischen Citra. So entsteht ein IPA mit einer einzigartig fruchtig-herben Hopfenaromatik, einer besonders ausgewogenen Bittere und einer dezenten Süße. Ein klares bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit Aromen von Aprikose, Orange und Holunderblüten.

Bottle (from Stockmann, Tallinn). Pours amber with light beige head. The head stays. Aroma is hoppy, grass, citrus, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, citrus, grapefruit, caramel, some metallic notes, caramel. Finish is citric bitter with lingering sweetness. Overall: good hoppy brew.

Bottle split at RBWG ’15 hotel lobby share on the final nightl, thanks to whomever shared this one, 21/02/15. Very lightly hazed golden amber with a moderately appointed off white covering. Nose is caramel malt, bread dough, citric peel, light spice. Taste comprises light soap, bitter orange, citric peel, lemon rind, straw, bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light streak of hop bitterness. Mediocre IPA.

Draught. Hazy deep golden liquid with medium white head. Aroma of hay, citrus, grain, lemon peel and bread. Taste is dry and medium bitter with notes of hay, lemon, grain and bread. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Grainy and hay forward. Meh.
