Bei unserer Neuinterpretation dieses altenglischen Bierstils kombinieren wir in einer speziellen Kalthopfung die beiden Hopfensorten Hallertauer Mittelfrüh und den amerikanischen Citra. So entsteht ein IPA mit einer einzigartig fruchtig-herben Hopfenaromatik, einer besonders ausgewogenen Bittere und einer dezenten Süße. Ein klares bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit Aromen von Aprikose, Orange und Holunderblüten.

On tap at Brauhaus Schmitz in Philadelphia. Amber orange por is topped by a dense creamy beige head. Big toasted malt nose melds with a spicy citrus hop bouquet. Rich caramel malt flavor is bolstered by the complex hop bill. Notes of grapefruit, dank citrus, lemon and pine. Peppery bitter hop finish.

Mostly clear copper with a thin, off-white head atop showing moderately-low retention.
Sugar and candied orange in the nose give off both an old and rather over-boiled hop character though on the end you do get a touch of more playful, new age fruitiness. Strong base malts provide plentiful honey and a touch of caramel is noted, as well. No alcohol, flaw or resin.
In the mouth it's soft, a bit sweeter than it should be and showing candied orange, light saccharine, oxidation and finally grapefruit, pineapple and honey lingering. Light-to-moderate bitterness. Carbonation is a bit fizzy and the texture is slick, overall.

Fra fat på Taproom Berlin 15 Jan 18. Delt med Rune. Mørk amber. Høyt tett stabilt skum. God aroma av fersken & plommer. Litt lacing. Smaken tørket frukt. Litt sitruspreg etter hvert.

300ml draught at Taproom Berlin, shared with Finn. Small white head, laces well. Hazed amber coloured body. Malt-fruity aromas, hints of caramel and ripe citrus. Mixed taste of orange, earth, and caramel. Bittersweet to the ending. Smooth in the mouth. Decent stuff. (Berlin 15.01.2018).

Draft at Mussel Bar & Grille - Ballston. Poured a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma was pine, some earthy hop notes, light grassy notes. Flavor was pleasant, light floral notes, some mild pine, touch of very mild resin. Some sweet malt notes. Pleasant enough paired with my meal.

Tap. Pours quite hazy orange, melon creamy off white head, dissipates slowly with good lacing. Aroma is pine, caramel, oranges, grassy. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body. Old school.

Flaska från Sabina och Thomas. Smak och doft av humle, malt, citrus, grapefrukt, karamell med toner av melon och granskott. Rund och len, fin fruktighet och sötma, bra balans och beska.

Bottle sample @ De Prins, Rhenoy tasting with Sussanne and Gijs. Clear amber with a dense white head. Druity aroma (apricot, orange, tutti frutti) with some caramel. Taste is sweet with a light bitterness. Creamy and smooth. More an English IPA than an US one, although the hops are very American.

On tap @ Dolden M�del, Berlin. Pours clear orange, with a big creamy, off white head. Aroma is hoppy orange and apricots, as well as roasted malts with cereals and sweet caramel. Medium body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is tropical hops with oranges, as well as malts with toffee and caramels.
