A strong amber ale.
A fulfilling taste journey starting with warm fruity malts and, with time, moving satisfyingly slowly into an expanding hoppy bitterness.

7/7/2021. Bottle from the Real Ale Shop, Wells. Poured 70 minutes into England v Denmark, its 1-1 and I’m hoping it’ll be England who will be the Magnificent Men come full time. Settles slightly hazy dark amber bronze with a small creamy off-white head. Aroma of toffee, malt, bread, biscuit, fruit, marmalade, earthy notes. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Full bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation. Chewy warming finish. Good beer. But it’s now 80 minutes and still 1-1. PS - we won!!

Bottle shared with Stuu666 and Ashton McCobb. Pours clear golden orange with a thin white head. Aromas of marmalade and biscuits. Something like marzipan. Taste is light sweet, nutty. Something slightly acrid and burnt on the aftertaste.
