Like all hatchets, ours is the consummate outdoorsy all-rounder. Half the alcohol of our flagship IPA Axe Edge, but still deceptively big on that iconic hoppy, citrusy flavour, making it the perfect session IPA.

Clear and golden with a frothy white head and a soft fruity aroma. Light and fresh with soft biscuit malt, some sweet citrus notes, a touch of bitterness and a dry fruity finish.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Almost clear pale golden, small head. Aroma of lime and starfruit. Mid sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Slender, ruity malt. Starfruit, mild tangerine. Low bitterness.

Cask handpull at Fuggles Cafe Tonbridge. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Easy drinking session ipa. Stone fruit flavour. Some sweetness to the fruit. Not much bitterness. Fine. OK.

Yellowish golden colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is floral, some mild herbal and grassy tones. Flavour is fruity, floral, some mild grassy tones to it. A bit thin, but still quite drinkable and refreshing.

Can at home. Deep golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are malty citrus and slight bitter. Medium body.

440ml can from Tesco in Barrow. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aromas & tastes of citrus, lemon, pine & pale malt. Moderate body. Light bitter finish. Enjoyable without been anything special
