Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Figs & Grain. Pours black-brown with a creamy, khaki topping. Light to medium sweet flavour with rich dark mats, sturdy ashy roast, dry cocoa, some earth, charred meat. Medium bodied with fine carbonation and velvety texture. Balanced finish, more hearty roast, rich dark malts, bitter chocolate. Great balance, good depth. Good stuff.

Can at home picked up from HOTM. A dark nut brown coloured pour with a good sized khaki head. Aroma is nice dry roast, light ash, toasted nuts, liquorice, hint of dark chocolate. Flavour is composed of robust dry roasted barley, ashy, bitter dark roast, liquorice, dark chcolate, dry finish. Palate is dry, medium bodies, modersate fine carbonation. Solid stout.

Keg @ Tap and Can. Pours black with a bubbly tan head. Aroma of roast, some chocolate shades. Medium bodied with a nice balance of roast, dark malt and chocolate shades. Nicely flavoursome, very well-presented stout.
