Gylden brun tåkete med beige skum. Lukter svovel, rognebær og mørke stenfrukt. Fruktig og skikkelig sur. Smaker bæreddik, sure bær, rognebær og noe epler. Lang sur avslutning.

Orangebrun med beige skum. Lukter svovel, bær, eddik. Surøl så det holder. Sure rips, sitron og eddiken. Enda mer sur i avslutningen.

75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Nov 23. Cheers Mike for this one! Pours a deep amber, large off-white head. Aroma of sherry, balsamic and Pastore tang. Tangy palate, prickly wild nuances with a nice sherry influence permeating throughout, nice aged depth. Excellent sipper.

Monday 27th November 2023, Monthly gathering in Chez Sophie. 75cl bottle, one of Mike's offerings, cheers mate. Dull old gold body, off-white crown. I usually struggle with these sort of beers as I don't like sour stuff, but this was OK for me, the Sherry Barrel influence calming down the sour puss and acidic wildness a little. Still to close to vinegar for me though! scored kindly.

Bottle pour at Vine Street Tap, pours a clear dull amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out sherry barrels, wild yeast, and vinegar. Flavour is quite vinegary, with balsamic notes, sherry notes, and wild yeast. A bit harsh and acetic but not too bad.
