[ As Bereta / Hop Hooligans / Wicked Barrel Tetraphobia ].
ABV: 8.0%. Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white - purple head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, roasted - toasted, lactose, blackberry, elderberries, fruity hops, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light tart with a long duration, lactose, dark malt, blackberries, elderberries, sweet berries - sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20190927]

Sampled at Borefts Beer Festival 2019, day 1. Very dark purple color, pinkish head. Aroma is a bit…yeah there it is again, "bedorven karnemelk" again. Flavor is lightly sweet, lightly a yoghurt-ish tart note and some artificial red fruit with candy in between. Nah, not my kind of beer.

Deep, dark red with a lingering, foamy head. Dank, moldy aroma with blackberry juice underneath. Taste is mildly bitter with a noticeable berry tartness at the finish. Medium bodied, balanced carbonation. No sign of the 8%. Not bad. Definitely in the “interesting” category.

At Borefts 2019. Aroma of cherry, blackberry, wheat and lacto. Taste has lactose, blackberry and cherry lemonade. Not bad.

Tap at Borefts 2019. Poured a clear dark reddish brown colour with a bubbly round off white head. The aroma is red berry citrus fruits. The flavour is light sour, with a grainy malt, fruity, light tart palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Clear dark ruby, some sediment, pink head. Some good hop dankness in the aroma, followed buy big smooth dark fruit - sweet but not sugary, velvety. Similar taste - it is sweet, but in a velvety dark fruit way, and it does have just enough hops for a fragile but still a balance. Of course, you'd never know it's 8 abv, but yeah, it does have the intensity. A rather smooth unbeer.
