Pais Tropical 2018 is our take on a light, easy, super hoppy and fruity IPA. Dry and late hopping with Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic and Mandarina Bavaria bring the tropical, yellow and citrus fruit flavour and aroma. These flavours are backed up by with a more expressive yeast strain. The pale malt base is lighter but still provides a smooth mouthfeel provided by the use of sufficient wheat and oats.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Albert Heijn Leersum. Hazy milky yellow with a white head. Tropical fruit cocktail aroma. Sweet taste at first but with a considerable bitterness. Maybe even too bitter in the finish for a session IPA but nice enough nonetheless.

15/03/2019 - draught glass @BBP Dansaert shared with rubin77. Hazy light yellow, medium white head. Nose is lots of tropical fruit, bit malts. Taste is malts, lots of tropical fruits, lemon, resinous, bit yeast. NIce and refreshing.

25cl from tap shared with Bierridder_S @ BBP brewery (visited 15.3.) F: huge, snow-white, long lasting. C: blonde to pale gold, hazy. A: a lot of fresh tropical fruits, orange, tangerine, pine resin, pineapple. T: light malty backbone, orange, bit tangerine, tropical fruits, pineapple, bit resinous, light to medium body, medium carbonation, very refreshing, fully enjoyable for me.
