We call it our session lager with good reason: light on the palate, subtly hopped, with a sweet, biscuity malt finish. The Hawkstone Session is not just easy-drinking, but it's also incredibly moreish.

Clear and slightly pale gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Light pale malts, a light creamy sweetness, whisper of grain. A clear lager tang in the mid. Hops are soft pine and a nice light lemony citrus. Airy finish. Yeah, works well as a session lager, I would be quite happy to in the pub all night quaffing pints of this without worrying if I'm gonna fall asleep on the train home. Again.

Fles gedeeld met Keukeman en Roelzie. Het is een helder goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige geur. De smaak is moutig, zacht met tonen van citrus.

Keg half @ Diddley Squat Farm Shop bar. Clear gold, patchy white head. Nice mellow clean lager, fresh tasting, dortmunder suggestions. Quite enjoyable.
