Deep black with thick fluffy dense beige foam and a roasty chocolate malt aroma.
Medium bodied but very dry. Nice thirst quench ing roasty dark lager.
Good stuff.

Bottle, mail order from the brewery. Almost black with a tall tan head. Malty nose, toasted, roasted, light notes of chocolate and some charcoal. Also a bit fruity. Dry and roasty, more like a Schwarzbier than a Tmavy. The lack of filtration gives it a bit more body and flavor than the filtered version, but it still is too burnt and dry for my liking.
