Trübe orange Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hefiger, malziger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich hefig, malzig, fruchtig mit reifer Banane und Nelken, leicht hopfig. Hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, voller Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Bottled. Hazy orangeish golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some toffee, bananas and mild spiciness. Flavour is wheat, toffee, bananas, mild spiciness, alcohol and some slight tart wood. Smooth to drink, and very easy to approach.

Pale gold with a frothy, white head. Banana aroma with spices underneath. Taste is bittersweet with a mix of clove and yeasty banana bread at the finish. Full-bodied, mild carbonation. Very traditional Weizenbock done well.

0.5 l bottle from 'Biermarket.de', best before September 2022. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy, moderately fruity-floral aroma of pear, light citrus and some banana. Gently sweet, quite yeasty-spicy, moderately fruity-floral taste of pear, melon, light citrus, some banana, nutmeg and light clove, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, quite yeasty-spicy and a bit boozy finish. Medium to full body, very effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Pleasant Weizenbock, nicely fruity but not overly deep and extremely effervescent. Expected more.

Heller Weizenbock mit 7,0 % Alk. und 16,5 % Stammwürze. Intensive Farbe.

I love Weizenbocks and this is on par with the best I've had. Just a perfect brew. Impressive since I messed up and forgot to roll the bottle, meaning there was a lot of sediment that didn't get put to good use. Next time. Pic: my new Christmas star.

500ml bottle. Hazy, dark orange, bright golden colour with average to huge, thick, firm, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Yeasty spicy and yeasty fruity, slightly wheaty malty aroma, notes of clove and mustard, mustard seed, a touch of gherkin and nutmeg, hints of banana, a biscuity touch of speculoos, whiffs of peach. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally biscuity, wheaty malty, yeasty fruity and yeasty spicy, slightly bitter and minimally fruity hoppy, notes of pear, banana, a hoppy touch of mandarine, some clove, a touch of nutmeg, peach. Minimally mushy, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Very complex, spicy and fruity, yeasty aroma/taste, definitely not focussed on the typical banana and clove flavours (nevertheless they are certainly present), lots of subtleties - solid ally for their famous Doppelbock.
