05-11-18 // draft at Zeitungsente Mainz. Cloudy orange. White head. Creamy banana. Smooth yeasty and wheat body. Great. Stronger alcoholic comes through in the end. Still a great Weizenbock.

(Keg at Captain Corvus, 20181103) The beer poured murky orange and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, spiciness and clove. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, fruitiness, banana, spiciness, clove, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, sweet and bitter. A nice and easily drinkable weizenbock.

(live on the holy mountain) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a firm and slightly off-white foamy head. Aroma of banana purée, a tinge of cloves and mildly wheaty and yeasty background. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a creamy carbonation. Initially sweet malty, moderately wheaty and banana-fruity taste with mildly bittering and herbal hops kicking in quite soon; well-rounded sweet-bitter finish with fruity and mildly clovy accents. Balanced and more-ish Weizenbock. 24.V.18

Tap at the Bräustüberl. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is spicy, bananas, estery, mineralic. Taste is spicy yeast, cloves, bananas, mineralic. Silky mouthfeel with high but soft carbonation, a touch chalky. Very good Weizenbock!
