Lots of points for balance, but (I can’t believe I am saying this) nothing striking me as special here. The nose features juicy citrus hops, a touch of dankness and mild malts. Undertated though. The taste profile follows from the nose with mild fruity hops, classic soft malts, a smooth body and a nice dry finish.

It is a wonderful ale or we could say IPA, powerful, hop, well balanced, nice side of sugar, caramel, bitterness staying a long time in the mouth, buying it at Madrid, drinking it in the axor feria hôtel in Madrid, probably before to go to Lima for one trip. 19.10.2016

Bottled. Pours a nice deep orange brown. Pine wood and floral aroma. Bit of resin to taste. An excellent example of the style

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 21A). Can 35 cl - Batch 45088L 072595 (BB: 08JUN25). AROMA: medium hop aroma (ripe fruit, melon, slight lichees) and pine. medium-low neutral and slightly sweet malt background. initial alcoholic notes. APPEARANCE: deep gold color and clear. medium-large ivory head, creamy, with good retention. TASTE: medium hop flavor (lichees, slight melon, pine). medium-low neutral-sweet malt background. medium-high bitterness with an almost dry and bitter finish that persists. TEXTURE: medium body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a nice american ipa.

Poured from 12oz bottle(rom temp) a hazy medium gold with a large head of foam that hangs around for the entire session.

The smell is hoppy and spicy with big notes of citrus fruit..grapefruit.

The initial taste is just like the smell(:^) ...a very nice grapefruit bitter bite but there's enough of a fairly sweet malt character there as well to balance things out. Yum. And, at only 6%abv, I just want to drink another and another....

Bottom line: Super good American IPA that I find to be one of the most drinkable in its style. Highly recommended!

Can at the Airbnb, first beer of the trip. Why is it this hard to find anything in stores that’s not sold in at least six packs ot not a double IPA in tallboys? Anyway, it pours cooper with an off-white head. Nose and taste are resin, biscuits, citruses and grass with a hint of orange peel. Moderately bitter, somewhat sweet and sticky. Pleasant old school AIPA.
