On tap at the brewery Bamberg. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Dry hipped with Cascades. Clean simple but with a lovely flavoursome hop flower bitter finish. It's delicious. Really good helles.

Clear pale yellow colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have initial pale malt sweetness. Growing bitterness.

Bottle 330ml. @ home on the terrace. [ As Hopfengarten Hopfen Gold - Cascade ]. ABV: 4.8%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, light grain, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, herbs, grass, crispy hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, herbs, grass, crispy hops, dry, pale malt, light floral, light grain. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. In der Nase schön grünhopfig, grasig. Im Trunk hopfig, getreidig, allerdings etwas unrund. Schaukelt wie ne kleine Barkasse voller Touris auf großer Hafenrundfahrt.

Sampled @ Craftbier Messe Mainz 2018. A clear golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of mild grainy malt, straw, some diacetyl. Taste of mild sweet grainy malt, straw, diacetyl, low bitterness.

Tap at the garden during their hopfenfest. Malty nose, biscuts, citrus hops. Fruity and biscuity, rich, bready malts and pretty nice citrus hops but a bit sweet and heavy compared to the pilsner. Still nice.
