Can from Kihosk. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are rich hops, lots of pecan pie, chocolate, flowers and has a nice sweet pecan pie finish. Great pastry dipa.

Clear copper and peach coloured body with a rich, tan head, only one centimetre tall, but microfoamed and looking nice on top. Aroma of super pungent nuts, caramelised sugars, grain and a dash of pure candy bars and earthy malts. Strong throughout in the nose, but very fragrant and deep. Medium to Full-bodied; Deep robust caramelised sugar sweetness at first with bunches of maple syrup, molasses and of course - bunches of pecans and nuts of all types. Aftertaste shows the alcohol, strong malt and almost cloying, deep sugars, with a great balance, but lighter hop pungency and almost no bitterness as the flavour are dedicated to sugars, nuts and alcohol. Overall, a rich and pungent beer with a lot of caramelised sugars and nuts, alcohol and body, but hardly any 'true' IPA notes, as this was more of an American Strong, but still showed well, regardless of style definition. While not sublime, this beer was worth trying and I'm hoping to see in the subsequent calendar items.

Sampled from a can this beer poured a cloudy and chunky bright golden color with a large foamy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet with toffee, honey and fruity hops. The flavor was tangy, sweet and bitter with pecan pie and tropical fruit. Long finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth.

Can split at L6 tasting, thanks to Kenny, 23/05/19. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is bitter sweet citric peel, light fart, sweet and sugary, straw. Taste comprises maple syrup, orange peel, sweet malts, syrupy sweet. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Overly sweet and gloopy … definitely the poorest offering of this debatable series of DIPA's !

Can shared in London - courtesy of Ken. Pours unclear gold with a creamy white head. The character is all sugary white bread and oddly intense bitterness. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Bitter finish. Not the best.
