GBBF Day 1. Cask. Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Light malts. Tangy orange and tangerine hops, trace of marmalade and lemon. Light finish, mild marmalade linger. Tasty.

Sampled @ GBBF. Clear orange color, small white head. Don’t get a lot of aroma. Taste lightly malts, lightly hops, decently bitter. Average body and carbonation. Ok beer.

Cask - Light grapefruit and pale malts. Cloudy copper with almost no head. Pale malts and a bit of orange and harsh bitter finish. Bitterness is a bit excessive.

Cask at GBBF 2014. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is spicy, earth, dough, toasted grain and honeysuckle. The taste is bitter-sweet, grainy, spicy, stone fruits, honey, alcohol, hay, straw and candy with a dry, spicy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Sort of spicy, sort of sweet.... Ho hum.

Tap at Brewers Art. Big pale ale, at least for the ABV. Rich malt tones, caramel. A respectable enough piny NW hop bill to back it up. Sessionable, but approaching full bodied. Enjoyable.

Not a lot going on here. Just a random mix of Belgian stuff it seems like. Pours cloudy brown orange with ok head and lacing. Finishes with light malt. On tap at DC Beer Festival.

Tap at Strangelove, Philly, 30/11/13. Hazed dark amber with a moderate off white covering that retains well. Nose is candied orange peel, citric hops, light spice, mandarin, red grapefruit. Taste comprises pink berry fruits, candied orange, perfumed notes, floral hopppingm pommegranite, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sweet finale with candied sugared fruits steeped in citric juices and a little hop bitterness. Decent - a little different from most APA’s.
