12oz can at Cock & Bowl. Poured a very clear golden yellow color with a fizzy, disappearing head. Aroma was immediate fresh shaved ginger. Semi-sweet notes, not as dry as I normally like, but a decent balance between sweet and tart. Ginger soda character.

12oz can pours a clear gold with some fizzy head that faded fast. Nose has ginger, cardamom, and of course green apples. Flavor has a lick of green vanilla bean, ginger, cardamom, apple skins, apple juice, a touch cakey. Finishes mostly dry.

Crazy light golden coloured body that is a light hazy straw note with a thin, very fast-dying white head. Aroma of fresh ginger, light malt, a touch of alcohol and way more warm ginger, just like Vernor’s soda in Michigan. Medium-bodied; Assertive sweetness up front from apples, a light honey flavour and a bunch of ginger more akin to Canada Dry than Vernor’s. Aftertaste shows a very pleasant sweetness, some mild malt, apple tastes, a hint of light alcohol, but a fresh and distinct ginger flavour throughout. Overall, a very nice cider with a perfect amount of fresh ginger flavour with a pleasant apple flavour as well. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Alexandria (Old Town), Virginia on 05-July-2015 for US$2,99 sampled at home in Upstate New York on 11-July-2015.

12 oz can poured. Pours a pale cloudy yellow with a quick fading head. Sweet soapy lemon and ginger aroma. Ginger ale like, with a much thicker body. Semi refreshing, and soda like. More sprite like than apple cider. Interesting, unique take on the style. Bonus points for being unique. Other than that, it was alright.

Draft - Raw and slightly artificial ginger. Pale green yellow with a decent white head. Sweet cider with ginger, bad Soda like with nothing good of any of ingredients coming out.

On tap at Hop 'n Headz, pours a cloudy white with a small white head. Aroma smells like a ginger soda, with lots of carbonation. Flavour brings out lots of ginger with medium sweetness. Gimmicky cider - not bad just not complex or really what one is looking for in a craft cider.

On tap at Republic. Pours a hazy very pale yellow with no head whatsoever. Aroma has a decent amount of acid bite with a bit of sweetness and ginger underlying. Flavor is much sweeter with apple and ginger notes and a touch of acid.

12 ounce can from Wine Warehouse, Charlottesville, opened 5/30/14. Pours a hazy yellow color with no head. Aroma of strong, spicy ginger followed by tart apples. The taste is strong ginger, a little breadiness, sweet apples, mildly tart finish. Medium bodied, decent balance. Solid.

Bottle from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours hazy gold with no head. Aroma is firmly ginger. Med body! Flavor is ginger iwth a hint of cider. With time the cider makes a mild come back - and it becomes less than dry, but the ginger never stops. Mildly sweet, but with ginger, finish.
