500ml bottle bought from Beautiful Beers and drunk at home. Thin brown, translucent with a creamy beige head. Aroma is hard to pin down: chocolate, cinnamon, some grassy notes, maybe a bit of mint. Taste isn't particularly sweet and there's a light and almost astringent bitterness near the finish. Dusting of cocoa in the aftertaste. Light body with robust carbonation. An odd beer but pretty good all in all.

Growler shared in Watford - cheers! Pours clear burnished gold with a frothy white head. Light sweet flavour with a little smoked ham, toasted brown bread, subtle leafy bitterness. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, more toasted malts, a little smoke. Sound.

26/9/2020. Bottle shared with SHIG, bought at 3at3, Ely. Thin pour, dark bronze coloured with a bubbly/frothy off-white head. Aroma of milk chocolate, light roasted malt, dark fruits, nut, touch of liquorice. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, slight creamy texture, carbonation has a bit of fizz as do most bottled milds. Quite tasty.
