440ml can from the brewery. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, light milky lactose. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, light chocolate, sugary sweet, light lactose vanilla palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

23/2/2021. Can sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers. Pours very dark brown with a nice size frothy beige head. Aroma deliciously tiramisu, milky, coffee, chocolate, cakey, touch malty. Medium plus sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Medium body, smooth texture, soft carbonation. Sweet finish with the edge taken off by a touch of bitter coffee. Really enjoyed this.

Black beer, decent off white head. Smells of sweet chocolate and coffee. Flavour is cocoa, coffee, a bit of vanilla and lactose and a nice malty base. Rich and smooth, does what it says on the tin.

44cl can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark brown, almost black, with fine brownish foam. Aroma is intense of sweets, licorice. Body is just above average density, with limited carbonation. Taste is markedly sweet, though not excessive for a pastry stout. Final is average.
