Bottled 500ml (Viking Line tax free)
Clear golden color, small white head. Aroma has light pale grainy notes and wet doggie. Light-bodied. Pale malty, even lame and watery then zesty, very bitter finish. Long grapefruity aftertaste. Yes, it is bitter/hoppy, but elements are quite unbalanced.

Cask at the Black Bull. It pours clear golden with a decent white head. The aroma is fresh, floral, lemon peel, grapefruit zest, toasted grain and straw. The taste is crisp, very bitter upfront, straw, grapefruit, lemon peel, soap, floral and pepper with a dry finish. Light body and soft carbonation. Pretty punchy for the abv. A tasty gold.

500ml bottle at home. Clear golden colour with a small, white head that quickly fizzed away. Citrus aroma, taste is sharp orange, with a bitter hoppy tang. Ok

Cask at the Rose & Thistle, Frimley Green. Bright amber with a thin white head; big leafy hop aroma; sharp grapefruit bitterness; and some tropical fruit before a dry finish. Certainly delivers a big mouthful of hops.

Clear golden beer with a thin creamy head. Light citrus aroma. Flavour is bittersweet, hoppy citrus. Aftertaste is bitter, very slightly metallic to my taste. Not great.

On cask at the Standing Order. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - elusive and kinda just pale malt. Taste - spicy malt with a lemon curd characteristic. Palate - medium bodied with a slightly gnarly crunchy texture and a slightly astringent finish. Overall - it’s challenging but not all in a good way.
