Wetherspoon Spring Beer Festival 2019. Cask @ Cuthbert Brodrick, Leeds. Black with an off-white creamy head. Raspberry dominates what would be a stated roasted malts brew without it. These are evident but subdued and very sweet.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Semi opaque dark brown amber beer, small pale tan head. Smooth and semi dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, little dark chocolate. Well integrated tangy raspberry jam. Light finish. Tasty enough.

Cask-conditioned at the Punch Bowl (JDW), York 1/7/2019. Near black in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. Plain chocolate, a touch of raspberry sweetness, accompanied by some toastiness, creamy edge and a toasty finish with more raspberry character. Enjoyable.

Fairly straightforward but really nice. Malty chocolateyness with a distinct but not overpowering raspberry twang that lasts through to the aftertaste. Very drinkable indeed.
