12 ounce bottle from Total Wine Brookfield, 9/30/21.Clear gold medium fizzy white head, good retention. Aroma of dank and herbal hops. Almost salty. Taste is pale malt, herbal hops. Crisp. Low bitterness. I expected more from Lagunitas. Meh.

I always thought it was obvious to make a hoppy NA beer to give an otherwise light flavorless beer some flavoring. But here Lagunitas has went somewhat overboard. The hops here are bright in the nose, but give a raw astringent quality in the flavor that is unpleasant, and features a grassy and plasticky finish. Just give it a nice hop overtone don't treat this like it has the malt body of a double IPA and hop accordingly. I'd say have some sense about it, but then it seems to me a large segment of the craft brewing world has lost all sense and reason in recipe construction lately.

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours light amber with a foamy white head. Aroma is citrus with the slightest suggestion of burnt rubber. Med body. Rather Near Beer with some citrus. Rather clean malt. Slightly roasty.

Super clear copper and bronze coloured body with a very thin and ultra fast-dying pure white head. Aroma of citrusey and lightly piney hops with a light dose of malt noticeable and just about nothing different than their 'normal' IPA - very nice, it seems! Light-bodied; While it seems like the malt has been pulled from this entirely and made with rice or something without glutens, the hoppy brightness of lemons, citrus and especially pine are definitely there and this is very nice throughout, without of course the alcohol which is a noticeable miss, but still very nice. Aftertaste shows the crisp and very deep hop note with a smooth bitterness from all the hops with a grassy bite, but without the malts, it seems like a subdued and gluten-free option, instead of an alcohol-free, which is actually nice! Overall, while this is only the second non-alcohol beer I've had, this one is by far better than the Three Notch'd version (Virginia) and is worth trying if you are doing any time without alcohol as it seems like Laggy's real IPA! I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 12-February-2021 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 18-April-2021.

Pours clear dark amber into a shaker. Bright white soapy head with good retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Nectarine, peach and apricot aromas. Crisp and light with sourdough and caramel upfront turning to dirty dishwater, and earthy, bitter pith in the lasting finish. Certainly complex for the style .

Bottle from the Packie Mostly clear deep gold color bordering on amber with a decent sized short lived bubbly white head. Earthy pine and pithy citrus with toasty bready caramel maltiness. Somewhat watery, light body moderate bubbles. Better than any NA beer I've tried, more body than a brut IPA. Nicely done.
