On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - golden and clear. White head. Nose - green beans, sweetcorn and biscuit. Taste - mange tout, bitter salad and bready. Palate - light bodied, dry and crisp finish. Overall - good stuff. Classic brewery. Assume they must bring out a new beer every decade or two.

Pounder can for a buck on the bargain shelf. Pour is decently hazy for a basic lager, good head. Nose is simply clean fresh lager. Taste is very nice and refreshing, better than I thought it would be. Good level of co2 as well. Civilized, refreshing and enjoyable. I like this stuff. Good job, lacks any ill cheap pale lager attributes. Well done HB! Could easily down a few of these.

Pale yellow gold with a huge foamy white head. Dry, citric and grainy with grain and phenol. Medium finish and body.

Milk, barley malt, and straw aroma. Hazy pale yellow with large white head. Mildly sweet lemon, barley malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Light body. Not bad for a light beer.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours lightly hazy gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is Saaz and bread with a light citrus note. Near med body. Flavor is Saaz and bread with something like a light citrus note. Pretty dry. Bitter enough to please me. Good session beer.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clearish straw gold with a finger of off-white head that lingers. Biscuit malt aromas with straw and peppery hop notes. More of the same on the palate. Nice bitterness, some mineral and crackery malts. Light bodied, but for the 3.3 abv a bit more body than expected. I like it a lot.
