Hazy yellow with a white head. Citrus aroma with some banana and coriander. Sweet taste with a low bitter taste. Decent Belgian witbier.

Bottle from local AH XL supermarket. Color: Hazy orangish golden, frothy white head. Aroma: Wheat malt, yeasty, coriander notes, banana hints. Taste: Smooth and quite dense mouthfeel. Over moderate to medium sweet, wheat malt, notes of coriander and citrus, orange peel, yeasty notes, light hints of banana. Moderate bitterness. More bitterness and orange peel at finish. Mwah, lacking complexity even for this style and too sweet. Too much 'made for the mass' I presume, which is ok for the brewery but not my kind of beer.

Foamy white head. Yeast & spiced aroma. Medium bodied. Clean on the back. Sweet citrus, lemon, yeast & fruity tastes with a spiced finish. Good one.

7.5% blijft onopgemerkt. Prima wit.

‘Tarwedubbel’ intended as a Christmas beer, thanks Craftmember for sharing. Medium sized, snow white, mousy, thinnish but stable head, irregularly lacing over a misty pale orange-hued peach blonde beer. Aroma of banana, allspice, ripe peach, white bread, dried orange peel, clear soapy coriander seed, dough, vague hints of green pear, cumin seed and apple peel. Sweet onset, apricot, banana and ripe pear aspects, softish carbonation, slick, bit soapy, even somewhat creamy body; rounded white-bready, soft maltiness with a thin caramelly edge, aromatized by ‘ethereal’ grains of paradise spiciness, later overcome by coriander seed and accompanied by some orange peel ‘fraîcheur’, making for a softly but emphatically spicy finish, in which sweet fruity esters linger and a dash of warming alcohol appears (strangely so at this ABV). Interesting to present an old school ‘tarwedubbel’ as a Christmas beer – the whole concept as well as the beer both feel very ‘Belgian’, including an emphasis on coriander. Pretty nice, if you’re into Belgian style beers, but the alcohol could have been better hidden.
