Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 24/10/24. Clear golden to light copper, carbonation evident and topped with a fast collapsing white crown. Nose is crisp apple, sugar dusting, herb, hedgerow, orchard mulch. Taste comprises apple skins, tannins, light sugars, modest funk, damp straw. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, drying close. Okay cider if not blowing me away.

750ml bottle from Blas ar Fwyd. Sparkling, golden amber colour, short-lived big foamy white head that quickly dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of musty apple, fruit, earthy, funk. Taste is appley, ripe fruit, orchardy, with some tartness, funky notes, honey hint and earthy drying tannin. Medium bodies, spritzy carbonation, dry tart & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
