Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2023, day 5 - Hackney. Pours mostly clear russet-brown with a frothy, tan head. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of well toasted malts, a little earth, cocoa, berries, burnt toffee. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Alright balance to finish, further dark mats, a touch of licorice, dark berries. Not bad.

Balansekunst! Smaksrik og sjarmerende så det holder.

Cask at Tapping the Admiral, Kentish Town. Malty chocolate aroma. Ruby red in the sun. Thin beige head. Light bitter instantly followed by sweet fruity berries. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat. Relatively abrupt dry finish. Really enjoyed this after some let downs.
