One of Silke’s fifty. Gold with a fleeting, foamy head amidst intense carbonation. Dank, yeasty aroma. Bananas and cardboard with hints of clove. Taste is mildly dough-like sweet with a light, grainy bitterness at the end. Medium bodied, the carbonation looks more intensive than it feels. Drinkable.

Bottle. Pale blonde. Banana in the aroma. Banana and tangerine in the fruity flavor. Sweetish, with not very much other flavors. Reasonably thirst quenching, but not very exciting weizen.

[ As Ladenburger Kristallweizen ].Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, weizen yeast, banana. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet fruit, sweet yeast, weizen yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180921] 6-3-6-3-12
