Sour Dark Ale aged 1 year in Cab Franc barrels with Raspberries, Sour Cherries and Cab Franc skins mixed fermentation (multi-barrel) soured w/ lacto and pedio (the wildest way to sour). Punches in at 9.1% abv but drinks like a charismatic tart cherry cola and is a delightful (dangerous) holiday beverage.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to New Ken. Pours unclear brown with a creamy, tan head. Acetic, rich, lots of leathery berry character. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Tart berry finish, a little more acetic twang. Really solid.

17th February 2019 Level 6 bottleshare. Thanks to New Ken. Semi opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Light, fairly dry and finely crisp palate. Tangy dark malts, thin. Trace of dark chocolate. Tangy fruits, very tangy, ripe prune and citrus peel. Red wine gone bad. Light finish brings more overripe fruits getting bitter. Not doing much for me.

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 22 Aug 2018) Dark brown colour with brief, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of caramel, dark cherries, oak wood, red wine, blackberries and black-currant. Malty, fruity, slightly tart taste with sour cherries, blackberries, black-currant, oak wood, wine and a tart and dry finish. Almost full body, dry, with low bitterness. Fresh, tasty and interesting, with a generous acidity. Very nice.

On tap at Farmhouse Fest 2018, pours a deep dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out lots of cola, red wine tannins, oak, and Worcestershire sauce. Flavour falls a bit flat, with oak, cola, and some balsamic. A bit too cola-like. It's okay.
